Michelle Wie withdraws early at the Women’s British Open
Sad to say, we'll not be seeing Michelle Wie for the entire Women's British Open. Midway through the 1st round, Wie suffered a wrist injury that prompted her to withdraw from the contest. It has been the same hand injury that's bothering Wie for almost a year. Wie recently won the HSBC Women's World title last March and finished T3 at last year's Women's British Open.
