Spieth with a blizting 65 at the British Open 1st round

It seems that Jordan Spieth proved naysayers wrong by posting a bogey-free 65 at the opening round of the British Open at Carnoustie Golf Links. The critics have been ‘a bit harsh' to Spieth, citing struggles as the reason why the 24-year-old pro is having a slump. At round 1, he proved them otherwise as he played like his former top-ranked self and he's on serious contention to win the British Open title.
