Bill Haas survives car crash; still in hospital

Bill Haas just survived a fatal car crash which claimed one life. Haas was in the passenger seat of a Ferrari together with driver Mark Gibello that crashed into the oncoming vehicle which was driven by a 50-year-old woman. Gibello, who was a friend of Haas, was pronounced dead at the crash scene while Haas and the woman was taken to a local hospital. As a result of the accident, Haas was withdrawn from the Genesis Open which will be held at Riviera Country Club.
