Patrick Cantlay wins PGA Tour Player of the Year award
It was no doubt Patrick Cantlay would win this year's PGA Tour Player of the Year award, and he did it convincingly. Cantlay recently won the FedEx Cup playoffs after claiming the BMW Championship and Tour Championship, and winning the Memorial Tournament and Zozo Championship; being the only golfer to win more than twice during the 2020-21 season. He was voted by his peers and he's expected to receive the Jack Nicklaus award after having a terrific season after edging out heavy competition in #1 golfer Jon Rahm, #3 Colin Morikawa, #7 Bryson DeChambeau and #11 Harris English who also had a strong showing during this golf season.
