Thompson withdraws name at Women’s British Open
Before the 2018 Women's British Open could even start, Lexi Thompson withdrew her name from the event. The reason for her withdrawal was to be mentally focused for the next event. She said that she needs to ‘recharge her mental batteries' which has been taking out all her energy for the past year. Controversies and health concerns played a major distraction on Thompson and she needs some time off so that she could be at her 100% on her next outing.
