Remembering Babe Zaharias’ last ever win at the LPGA Tour

Post Tags

Mildred Ella Didrikson Zaharias or simply known as Babe Zaharias is a well-decorated sportswoman and has excelled competitively in baseball, track & field, basketball and (more importantly) in golf. She won 41 times under the LPGA Tour along with her 10 major titles, adding them to her 2-gold medal (track & field) run during the 1932 Summer Olympics. Unfortunately, she passed away in 1956 (age 45) due to colon cancer but she was already an established top-ranked female golfer for having an impressive career.
