Merritt victorious in Barbasol Championship for 2nd tour win

Troy Merritt earns his 2nd PGA Tour win at the Barbasol Championship by 1 shot over Billy Horschel, Tom Lovelady and Richy Werenski. Merritt closed the final round on a 5-under 67 for a total of 23-under 265. This PGA Tour also featured the appearance of Brittany Lincicome, the 6th woman to start a PGA Tour event. Meanwhile, Merritt last won a PGA Tour contest last 2015 at the Quicken Loans National, beating top-ranked golfer Rickie Fowler.
