Melissa Reid publicly coming out as gay

It takes tons of courage to come out as gay/lesbian and nothing stood in the way of Melissa Reid in doing so. Reid, an English pro, came out via Athlete Ally, a non-profit organization which deals in human empowerment specially in the LGBT community. Reid said that coming out as gay was indeed a good experience for her and her family, with full acceptance of what she truly is. Reid has 6 victories on the Ladies European Tour which includes the 2017 Oates Victorian Open and the 2015 Turkish Airlines Ladies Open.
