Justin Thomas has been off since the start of the 2021 Waste Management Phoenix Open after having multiple bogeys on the first 2 days of the the tournament. Nevertheless, he went on sinking 9 birdies (also on the 2nd day) to finish the 2nd round with a 65, 2 shots behind 2nd round leader Lucas Glover. He is very confident about his recent game despite a missed cut at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and his severed ties with Ralph Lauren with regards to his homophobic rant.
