History has been made as Japanese pro golfer Hideki Matsuyama took the win at the 2021 Masters Tournament. Matsuyama, the first Japanese and Asian-born player to win the tournament, posted a total of 10-under 278 (final round 73) to secure the 1-stroke victory over rising pro Will Zalatoris. Afterwards, Matsuyama's caddie took a bow at the 18th fairway as a sign of Japanese respect. Matsuyama has now 6 wins on the PGA Tour while also having 8 wins on the Japan Golf Tour, and is now excited to bring his new green jacket home.
