Does drawing a line make your putts better?

This topic has been of great discussion lately; drawing a line on the golf ball. A lot of players say that this method has been effective and made their putts better. Phil Mickelson, for example, has been using Callaway's Triple Track lines on his golf ball and it's technology partner is the Vernier Hyper Acuity which simply identifies possible errors so that the user can avoid them. But not all golfers agree with this method, it's just some execute their putting game the traditional way and still get the same results.
